Due to the increasing interest we are seeing in double fabrics we have decided to go one step further: 3-D fabrics. One can weave some of the 3-D fabrics with a regular loom, not all of them. Usually these fabrics are known as tubular fabrics as they have long longitudinal cells. They are also known as hollow fabrics. We have manufactured a proof-of-concept fabric (please see adjoining picture) to be able to show our customers how this type of fabric is.
